Job Description:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and computer-savvy Data Entry Clerk to enter information from paper documents into our digital database. You’ll work under the guidance of a senior data team member to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a data entry clerk
– Fast typing skills (knowledge of touch typing preferred)
– Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
– Basic understanding of databases and office equipment
– Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
– Enter data from paper documents into computer files or databases
– Create error-free spreadsheets
– Verify data for accuracy
– Update existing data and retrieve information as needed
– Perform regular data backups
– Organize paperwork after data entry
Pay Range (New York, NY):
– $35/hour – $55/hour (depending on skills, experience, and location)
